Step into the heritage of St. Petersburg’s Jewish community. This tour is focused on the Jewish life of the city past and present times. You are going to visit the district of Kolomna, the center of Jewish life in the city in the 19th century and the Grand Choral Synagogue created in the Moorish style. Driving along the Nevsky Prospect you will see an Wawelberg house as well as the luxurious mansions on the English Embankment, built for Jewish financiers like Ginsberg and Polyakov.

The Church on the Blood – as it also knowns as it marks the spot where Alexander II was fatally wounded on March 1, 1881. The church has an outstanding and varied collection of mosaic icons. The Church is absolutely marvelous inside and out. It is the type of architecture for MUST SEE in St. Petersburg.
